I'm a writer and illustrator from Edinburgh and currently based in London. I'm inspired by 18th-century wood engravings, medieval manuscripts, Scottish and Scandinavian folk tales, traditional watercolours and contemporary illustration and book cover design.
I write about arts and culture, especially books, poetry, photography and theatre.
